*Huge sigh of relief* I heard from my doctor tonight that she faxed over all my paperwork and test results to the treatment center today. I’ve been worrying about that for days now. They absolutely had to have everything five days before I go in. Now I can relax!
I just have to say – I love my doctor and her assistant. They both have been sooooo helpful and supportive, especially these past couple weeks. Last week I felt like I was talking to the assistant (Jennifer) every single day about one thing or another. She even gave me their direct phone number and said I could call if I needed anything at all. She calls me “sweetie.”
I didn’t know until recently, but my doctor actually had anorexia when she was a teenager, so I feel like she totally understands. Today she sent me a message about my test results and said that she really wishes me the best in treatment and to let her know if there’s anything she can do. SO NICE.
I ALSO got a phone message from my nutritionist today. She’s been talking to my insurance company for me about my appeal, and it looks like my appointments are going to be covered completely! Awesome!
On another subject, today was my last day at work. It was a weird day. I had to train two new interns. I really hate training people, but at least the afternoon went by fast.
Also a note: the weather forecast has changed – it’s supposed to be sunny and warm on the 23rd where I’m going! Yipee!
I’m so happy for you Amanda… This will be such a wonderful change for you. Approach it with new eyes. <3
